So, cat-owning folks, you may want to read through here:

Purina has a whole host of sub-brands, including Friskies, our cats' meal of choice -- well, not anymore.
Just called my mom and had her take the cats' food away. They'll get a new bag of noms tomorrow. I just hope that Petsmart will refund us on the unused cans. As for new stuff, I'm thinking Mousie might like a big ol' bag of Royal Canin for Christmas. :D

As for the winds... Yep. Lots of Hulk smashing, but, blessedly, very little damage on my end. Some of the cars parked down by the hospital, however...

Date: 2011-12-05 02:32 am (UTC)Not to get too graphic, but it's AMAZING how little poop my cats produce on a "meatier" dry food compared to the "grainy" ones.

Date: 2011-12-06 06:34 pm (UTC)They'll peck at the dry food at least, which is a better sign than the last time I tried to switch a cat's food *facepalms at memory*

Date: 2011-12-06 06:38 pm (UTC)My mom eventually settled on Authority for their dry food (first two ingredients were MEAT and MORE MEAT), and she grabbed a few cans of the wet, as well. We'll see how that goes.
What did you two find? :D ?

Date: 2011-12-06 06:51 pm (UTC)Performatrin Ultra for the kibble (seems to be the store brand?) and a selection of cans to find soemthing they'll FUCKING EAT ALREADY: differnet flavours of Performatrin Ultra, Performatrin non-ultra, and Blue Buffalo. Also, a guy we used to live with, with whom I share a bus ride with at least weekly, told be about the organic stuff his gastro-intestinally-challenged kitty eats, which is apaprently available from one of the local grocery big chains. Research and experimentation continue...
(The kibble is shaped like stars and crescent moons! Sailor Senshi Salmon Select! XD)
