kiffieDad went to the comic book shop yesterday. They didn't have Battle Hymn.
So he comes home with Blue Beetle.
The new one.
My dad... knows very little of my distaste for Beetle Lucha. But I figured, hell, I'm holding the book, why not read it?
It really was as bad as I feared. A little worse, actually, because I was hoping that, dispite the knocks against it, there might be some good writing in there. Giffen is a good writer, usually. But... nada. There were some funny one-liners, but the story was rushed, confused, and left me more annoyed than wanting to buy the next issue.
Hurm.
