People will almost always react negatively to someone showing them a picture of two animals mating.

HOWEVER--

Two bugs gettin' it on seems completely acceptable.

((I even think it's cute.))

Where DO we draw the "modesty" line with animals?

By seeing actual organs, I think. Or humping involved.

I don't know that I personally have a negative reaction. I do usually find it a silly thing to show around in most circumstances, and can generally do without seeing random images of genitals. XD

I guess bugs have such alien sex organs (the ones I know about, anyway, which are...well, only spiders actually, from people discussing how to identify tarantulas) that it doesn't really register. And many bugs look cute anyway, to boot.

Two tarantulas getting it on is substantially less cute when the cannibalism starts, though. :P

*scratches head* I don't find pictures of two animals mating upsetting . . . Maybe because the dog book I've had since I was growing up shows it in detail with photographs and diagrams. Also helpful hints like, "With toy breeds, the male may need something to stand on to reach the female" and "A large breed female may need her owner to steady her with a knee under her stomach."
