Christmas is becomming less and less of a "glee!" experience as I get older, but this year was pretty good, irregardless.
Me and Dad snuck out a few days ago and bought my mom a new sewing machine. She was very pleased with it. I'm happy. And relieved. Especially since her initial reaction to the huge box was something akin to 0_o.
Got Dad some socks and two new beanies. Those damn beanies are so hard to find. He likes the knit ones, round not square, and they hardly make them anymore. He only wants little things, but we always end up going all over town to find them.
The parental units were great. Got me some gloves (warm as all get out!) and a raven torc! Soooo shiny. Heavy, but shiny. I are a happy Kiff. Oh! And a gift certificate to the Comic Cellar. Mom jokingly said that I'd be living there for the next week. If she only knew how true that statement is... Muahahah!
I hope your respective holidays were wonderflous.

Glad to hear it went like awesome!

Date: 2005-12-26 10:37 am (UTC)Here in New Scotland, Celtic revival is a big thing. However, Celtic seems to equal Irish to this people. WTF I AM NOT IRISH STOP TOUCHING ME.
Scots! Scots! Manx, even! Not Irish!

So yeah, recently been convinced to try things like smoked salmon and mussels and whatnot.

Date: 2005-12-26 01:38 am (UTC)Actually, we don't usually do the whole gift exchanging thing. It's just, "here, have some money and buy whatever you want."
