Secondly, am slowly (very, very slowly) getting test-sketches done for the final bit of art I owe, to taichara. I have to balance that within what little free time I have, though, so it's moving like molasses. Boo.

Thirdly...

I deeply want this poster. I have no idea where I would put it, nor if I can really justify that sort of an expense ATM, but you have no idea of the levels of DO WANT that are currently circulating in my system.

...I know Alex Ross' design concept for Torch is to a negative light effect happening, so that there is more light where there would shadows if he weren't on fire, but that icon you're using looks like he's shooting flames out of his nose. XD

And if I had fire powers, I would totally shoot flames out of my nose! XD

...There are certain things about the Heroes for Hire series that will always make me laugh. That is one of them.

If it helps any, Ross has improved his Torch renderings a lot since Marvels. You don't get the FIRE OUT MY NOSE nearly so much in the Torch miniseries cover art.
