...Frankie.

Frankie is my test fish for the behavioral modification section of Companion Animal. I'm going to be teaching him to come to the surface for food when I tap on the glass.
I've wanted a fish for a while, and this just gave me an excuse to finally go and get one. Frankie is currently in my room, but once he's settled in and used to his new tank, I may move him to the living room so random can also enjoy his fishy fishiness. :3

Date: 2010-01-29 08:16 pm (UTC)Man, this makes me miss Nani and Cap'n. I had Nani taught to come to the surface for 'snuggles' (I would actually pet him) and I managed to train them both to come to the surface to get baby spiders I'd kill for them. Bettas are FUN.

Date: 2010-01-29 08:27 pm (UTC)They are the best fish. They're surprisingly interactive for supposedly "loner" fishies.
Ahahaha, spider snacks! I should probably get some brine shrimp for this little guy. He only has pellet food, atm.

Date: 2010-01-29 09:38 pm (UTC)Wait'll the warmer months. Tiny insects that get inside make the most wonderful snacks for them. Once Cap'n ate an entire canal fly! O_O
Just don't get him flake anything--Cap'n got extremely offended by flake food. @_@
