I think I figured out (partially) why Voodoo's mpg was low. And it was painfully obvious, once I saw it.

Her tires were so deflated, they looked flat. This was to the point that someone in a truck pulled up next to me and insisted I pull over, less I fuck my wheel. The thing is, they didn't look low. At least, not before a drive. I'd checked them before I left, they looked fine. After I'd run some errands (and saw Truck Guy), I got out and looked -- sure enough, they were all flat as boards. I didn't run anything over, there was no difference in driving quality, even kicking them, they felt normal. They were just low.

So, I went and filled them.

And wouldn't you know, that little metal whore actually drove like she had a real suspension system.

*sigh* Cars.

I think that, so long as she was sitting in the parking lot, they retained their proper shape. But once the car moved, thunk, whoosh, nooooo...!

Oh well. I'll make a note to check the air pressure once a month now. X3
