It's attached with muffler tape, and I have no idea.

It did survive Jeeves' rather violent tail-wagging, so it may stay on during actual driving. :3

Jeeves 'wags' his entire tailpipe when he idles. The engine vibrations make the tailpipe vibrate, as well. For a while, the old tailpipe was knocking against the apron on every swing. :3
