Alas, no. I was thinking more a steampunk-ish desk lamp, shaped like a T, where the bum was the lampshade. The shade part being possibly made out of textured red glass.

My friend had a turtle lamp sorta like that. You know, you might check to see if something like it has already been made (and would therefore be customizable). Spiders are pretty populaire in goth and metal crowds, sometimes.
