So I'm sitting outside, babysitting an oil lamp as I attempt to burn off all of the kerosene that was previously in there.
It is... probably the single most disgusting smell I've ever encountered. A little bit like melted crayons on a hot day, mixed with onions and gasoline.
Not that the newer paraffin smells any better, but it's usually not so strong.
So let's recap -- hundred year old oil lamp with hundred year old kerosene oil in it = ohgodwhy. D:
