We get to see Spot! And Geordi being aww-worthy!
I think if they had kept this bit in the movie, it would have made a huge difference.
I'm going to go to Blockbuster later on in the week, rent the Director's Cut of Nemesis, and watch it again. It may suck just as badly up until the very end, but it might be worth it for that last little bit.
