You know, that song never really bothered me much.
Probably because I remember going on the ride several times with my mom when I was wee, and she was enjoying herself so thoroughly, I think I've got it associated with "happy mommy time."
On the schadenfreude end of things, it means I can play it in a roomful of people and be the only one not gripping their ears in horror. >:3
