I found out what was making Voodoo shudder.
The trans mount is torn.
Like, in two.
So the trans was loose, thereby making the engine loose, and throwing both from side to side. This is what was causing the shaking. And this is why I'd been experiencing "phantom" gas on the pedal from time to time. The engine was physically moving foreward and back and pulling the pedal wire with it.
Now, the very probable cause is that this is a sideeffect of the crash. So there's a slim chance the insurance will pay for it. But even if they do, I'm out $350 for a while.
