*frustrated yell*
Mar. 23rd, 2009 05:22 pmI had been planning to go home for Spring Break.
I'd put off going home this weekend because Voodoo was in the shop to get her clutch disk replaced (again*). When they dropped her engine, the mechies found out that her transmission fork was warped and offered to replace that, as well. I said sure.
Two forks later and they can't find one that fits, I'm still stuck in San Luis, and my vacation is looking to be nothing more than a pleasant thought.
I wanted to go home. ;_;
*Sachs makes a lot of the disks that go into Volkswagens. The disk and plate that failed were Sachs brand. The failed disk was replaced with a Sachs. The new one also failed. Sachs parts have failed in other cars in recent months. I'm thinking Sachs is going to lose a lot of business from here on out.
