I have mystery bruises on my wrists. I think Archie clawed me when he fell, but they're in a really weird place for that.
Sucker, my pleco, now has a spiffy, ubercool filter that has ended the days of OHGOD WHY DO YOU POOP SO MUCH. I am happy. Sucker is... mildly disturbed, but he'll get used to it. F'oggie does not dirty his tank opaque every few days, so I don't think that calls for another $15 out of my wallet.
Let's say that again. F'OGGIE DOES NOT LIKE TO LIVE IN FILTH. WHY MUST YOU FLING POO EVERYWHERE, YOU LITTLE--?!
Sigh.
I also got some sandpaper. I'm gonna be sanding the rust off all the tin and locks on a trunk I want to take with me to SLO. I cleaned the wood up real pretty yesterday. Except for a few chips and scratches, it looks new! After I'm done with the tin, I'll repaint it and make it look nice, too. The only thing I won't be able to fix is the canvas. It's... well... pretty much a lost cause.
Does anyone here know something I can put on it that will clean the canvas without damaging the wood under it or the tin around it? It's currently a very dark, icky gray. It should be yellow. Probably. I'm almost positive it wasn't white -- it was probably doped to make it watertight. Or should I just paint over it?
