Alright...
Jun. 17th, 2006 01:01 amSo, about 7:15 this morning, I heard five gunshots. A single shot, and then a second later, four in rapid succession.
I went back to sleep.
When my mom came home at 1, she told me that someone had called the police. And that they had come to my neighbor's door and held a gun to her son's face, threatening to shoot him.
I think I know who was shooting, and I think I know why, but it had nothing to do with that neighbor, and the police had no business pointing a gun at a child.
And so, because of all this, dispite the horrible heat, we can't leave our windows open when we're not home. There are circumstances beyond this that I won't mention, and everything just sucks in general.
