Well, there's the thing: If we end up using Holmes, I don't want him to be GRAND EBIL. Possibly being controlled by someone else, or with motives that are known only to him and only appear evil to Our Heroes.
However, if there's another villain, I'd love to play up the Ultimate Evil bit. Because truely evil villains are awesome, too.
Dig would be too busy trying (unsuccessfully) to keep Fred out of his Secret Evil Lair to ever do any damage.
