Today on "Cooking With Kiffies"...
A hunk of meat and a mountain of taters. Ah. Potatoes. Without them, college students would starve.

Weirdly, that's basically what I had for lunch
(with some frozen veggies, though)
.

You know my feelings on frozen veggies. <(._.)>
However, it does sound kinda nice. Veggies, I mean. Hurm. *rummages around in cupboards*
...we have chicken noodle soup? o_O

Freezing?
Ruins it, precious.
Also, I associate frozen stuffs-- especially corn --with turtle food. Bleh.

Huh. I prefer frozen over tinned, because it doesn't taste all salty from the preservation process, and I can more easily control portions.
eta: this does not apply to soups. Somehow when I make soup from not-a-can, I end up with an immense amount of food.

I like my veggies salty, so I figure there's less work to be done on my end if I have canned. :9
