Lulz

Yesterday, Voodoo refused to start at the market. I beat on her engine with a club and she then started up fine.

Today, she refused to start at Best Buy. Beating didn't help. I ended up sitting in the sun for an hour before my dad (and Jeeves) showed up. Dad held the wires to the battery while I hit the ignition. Voodoo started! ...then promptly died. Then started again! ...and went ten feet and died.

THEN SHE STARTED A THIRD TIME AND STAYED ON. [/Monty Python]

So I went home.

As soon as she had her nose in the garage, Voodoo died once more. And this time, she stayed off. I pushed her the rest of the way in.

All of this because of a loose battery post. *sigh*

Technically, a Clutch Club. The lock that goes on the clutch pedal to keep people from stealing the car. It also happens to be coated in rubber, meaning I can thwack a loose battery wire without getting zapped. :D

I am glad you are practicing automotive-repair safety, electrocution-wise. ._.

You thwack the wire to knock off the Dried White Shit (technical term) and to bend the wires back onto the battery post, thus improveing the connection. (._.)/

Eh. The car's tempermental, but it's worth it for the gas milage. :D
