Things that have been going on, in no particular order:

It's been warm here. Very warm. And in deepest consideration for those who have been dealing with snow and freezing cold these last weeks, let me say...





77 degrees today! :3

Went to the beach with random_redshirt and Mister Kitteh. It's the first time I've been to the beach, proper, in nearly ten years, and it was awesome. There were quite a few people, and even more dogs. So many dogs. Everyone was out to enjoy the sun.

I'm beginning to believe random's theory about San Luis Obispo existing in a pocket dimension...



School's going well enough. I'm repeating OCHEM, though this time with a teacher whose style I get along with better. Hopefully this quarter goes better for me than the last.

And, finally, Frankie has dropsy (read: kidney failure). I'm medicating him as best I can, but I'm not terribly hopeful. He did peek out from his hidey earlier to get some air on the surface, so at least he's still mobile, but he looks terribly sick. I feel pretty damn helpless.

Really strange weather here. It's only SoCal, though -- my roomie just came from NorCal, where it was below freezing for days on end.

I will try. *shakes fist at OCHEM*

He's been doing better than he was a day or so ago. He came out, briefly, to flare at his own reflection and chill on the surface for a while. I doubt he'll make it through this, but he seems comfortable and in less pain.

...and he's back making faces at the glass. X3
