Help?
Maybe edbeens will know of something, but all help is welcome.
I've been trying to find a skull for Bob tolive hide in.
Preferably human. Hollow, of course. And either with a hole big enough in the back to allow him in, or made of something I can easily cut-away. Ceramic, I guess. Realism is a big plus, but a goofy-looking skull won't be turned down if it has the right dimensions.
I've looked at PetsMart and a local fish supply store, but have come up empty. I did find a nice large cat skull with ample interior space, but the eyeholes seemed to be asking for a spider bum to get stuck in them.
Yes, I totally just want it so I can say, "Get back in your skull, Bob."

If Pet Co. ends up bust, I will probably end up waiting 'til next Halloween and buying something then.

And it would likely be way more spider-safe than anything I would buy. :3

The thing is, I know several places here and in my home town where I could get one of those, but I don't know how big you need and I'm not sure if Le Passage is still in the Champlain Mall and how they'd react to my asking if their products are spider friendly.
Plus if I go there I'm liable to spend way to much time sitting in the hammock chair and playing the mini-dulcimer and critiquing the incense burners.
And if I bought you one anyway, then you'd need to give me a real world address. *tries again to email you soup* ._.

If you found one, I would totally pay you back for shipping (and the cost of the skull, of course). And asking if it's spider-friendly as least gives them something to laugh about later. DON'T YOU WANT TO MAKE PEOPLE LAUGH? :3
I have nothing against giving people my address. ed has it. So does Sparky and Laki. :D
OMG SOUPS *waits by Hotmail*

Hmm. Foam-filled latex is a no-no. So is anything that invovles glitter. Nothing that has a "powder-y" feel to it, really, or has something that hungry crix might nom on, then pass onto Bob when he eats them. Strong smells to the plastic or material are also bad, though those can be fixed with lots of soap and water. :3
omg ilu so much

The whole skull bit is a sort of joke in regards to Bob of the Dresden Files (http://l.yimg.com/img.tv.yahoo.com/tv/us/img/site/66/88/0000036688_20061228120519.jpg), who also lives in a skull.
