What Sucks

Laying in bed, looking at the clock, and realizing that you're not getting to sleep that night.

That just happened.

I have a full 5 hours of class, straight, tomorrow. Three of those are delicate labwork with bacterial cultures.

( ._.)

Eeesh. Lack of sleep = no fun.

I have a full 5 hours of class, straight, tomorrow. Three of those are delicate labwork with bacterial cultures.

Sounds remarkably like my job. Except it would read: "I have a full 7 1/2 hours of class, today. Most of which are being covered in bacteria or one form or another."

:D

I would be terrified to culture a swab from a classroom. TERRIFIED. XD

Mmm, 8-hour workdays. I do not look foreward to those.

Hee! And a lot of times you wouldn't need to swab. They just share with you various other ways.

child: AtCHOO!
me: *wipes cheek* Please remember to sneeze into your elbow....
child: *finger in nose, then on desk, computer keyboard, pencil, book, my ID badge*
me: Keep your fingers out of your nose. Now go wash your hands, please.

etc. :D There was one time that I was helping with lunchroom duty and the kids had dumped out any remaining milk/juice from their cartons into a big pan (so it doesn't go in the garbage bag), and I leaned over it--dipping my playground whistle into it. It was a very hectic lunch period and later--when I blew my whistle on the playground-- I remembered I hadn't washed it yet.

8-hour workdays are GR8!
