Moar Art

I think art is the only thing keeping me sane these days.

Two Dresden Files fanarts under the cut.

Aw crap.
Harry really should learn to not take shortcuts through dark alleys.

Teeniest little sorcerer.
Perspective fail here, but what the hell. teeny!Bob, with his badass past self.

While I do fully think that Bob scares the crap out of Harry on a regular basis in the alleyway behind his building (Harry seems to cross the alley to come home, when he walks places and, let's face it, Bob can be an ass), I doubt Harry'd take revenge on Bob in any way beyond blaring bad disco music while the ghost is trying to "sleep." Bob, of course, I can see retaliating with opera. Loud opera. Boisterous opera. Sung intentionally off-key. >:3

Evil!Harry is interesting to think about, but I doubt I could ever write it. I simply have no knack for it, and-- more importantly --I like writing Harry as the good guy. I like READING about Harry as the good guy. Maybe a fuckup, sometimes, but still the good guy in the end. And because, if Harry's evil, it doesn't bode well for Bob. Ghosty's already had a shit existence, and Harry seems like the one bright spot in a long period of crap -- he doesn't need the disappointment of Harry going all Dark Side.

Wow, that got long. Sorry. X3

Harry & Bob: the Odd Couple! :D

I think he would be HORRIFIED if something he advised Harry to do ended with Harry going Dark Side. He likes the kid too much to want him to end up as a haunted skull.

*hugs* :D

This is pretty much how the TV show played it. That's one of the many reasons I loved it. :3

Harry would make a terrible skull-ghost -- he's too nice, for one. And tall. I doubt he'd fit in that itty, bitty skull. :3

Somewhere, Bob is offended that you're implying he's short. X3

Bob is short. >:3

Well, at least compared to most of the other folks on that show -- they cast really tall for both Harry and Morgan.

Hence the heels.

That kinda makes sense to me, although now I may have to hunt up a clip of Harry getting in or out of his car. X3

Men's dress shoes have a substantial heel. (._.)/

It's not nearly as noticeable with the Jeep. Jeeps are, after all, rather tall cars on their own. And I don't think we ever get to see Harry getting out of the Beetle.

Especially in Star Trek.

D: We didn't? D:

Star Trek boots are so totally awesome. I wish I had some. :3

Sadly, no -- the only time they show the Beetle is when it's up on the lift, and Harry is (presumably) driving the Jeep as a replacement. They nixed the Beetle when they realized shooting in a Bug is murder, and the actor would be very, very uncomfortable in a teeny!car.

And they're so shiny, too! :D

I am therefore guessing that actual Harry (book Harry) is somewhat smaller. But still. :

Book!Harry's taller, actually, though he doesn't have much choice in his automobiles.
