Car Update
I have a rental!
Other Guy's insurance is paying for a rental, so I now have a brand-new, ugly-as-sin Mazda in my parking spot. It drives like a squirrel on crack, turns like a light-cycle, and stops far too hard. I like it. :3
There's one major thing that bothers me, though:
Mazdas have little, teeny-tiny steering wheels. Oh god, it's like driving a bumper car. And I say this having spent years with Voodoo having the World's Teeniest Steering Wheel*. Who could possibly find this comfortable? How am I supposed to turn this thing? D:
*Voodoo now has a stock wheel, after her last one broke in two. Whoops.

I'm the other way around, actually. Large cars scare me. I'm always afraid I'll hit something or run into something and not know. I like Voodoo because her nose is on level with an adult's knees -- I always see pedestrians.

She is a very good car. I will always love Ghias (and their Bug cousins) because of this little rustbucket. :3

Said hubby is 6' 7"... so... little cars don't fit him much. :) Your Ghia is totally cute.
